What are we to do as Christians? The question is should we or should we not vote? The 7 points that Carlos shares brings understanding to the Body of Christ. The Bible clearly states that His kingdom would come on earth as it is in heaven. For our nation, our homeland where we live, we have the ability to influence our sphere and then the Kingdom of God would come. Wherever we live the Lord places a very high value on the importance of desiring His Kingdom to influence our cities, our homes, our lives, corporately, and our nation and the nations of the earth.
Though the enemy may speak his lies to torment our minds and souls, we must resort to confessing and decreeing the greatness and faithfulness of our God. Faith must be the anchor that causes our minds and souls to be at ease! You and God are able to take the mountains you face and cast them into the sea! Trust and believe today!
"God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah." (Psalms 46:1-3)
HOW WORSHIP & INTERCESSION MAKE SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Engaging in spiritual warfare is essentially agreeing with God and disagreeing with the enemy concerning our beliefs, values, and actions. It involves reminding ourselves in prayer of God's character and covenant promises, agreeing with His Word and declaring the supremacy of Jesus. It involves confessing sin, rejecting the works of darkness, and acting in the opposite spirit by doing the works of the kingdom.
The method of “warfare” emphasized in Scripture is to agree with God in worship and intercession. When we agree with who God is, we call it worship. When we agree with what God promised to do, we call it intercession. In heaven, worship and intercession flow as one river and are woven together in the exercise of God’s government. They overlap and are deeply related. Both are necessary, so we must value both activities in our approach to God-centered spiritual warfare.
1. WORSHIP: is agreement with who God is. In worship we declare truths related to who God is such as “Holy is the Lord,” “You are worthy,” “The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever,” etc.
"...And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” (Revelation 4:8-11)
2. INTERCESSION: is agreement with what God promises to do. In intercession we speak truths related to what God promises to do such as: “Lord, release a greater measure of Your Spirit’s activity to revive the church. Release the power of Your Word as confirmed with signs and wonders.”
"Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake." (Revelation 8:3-5)
